Labor Solutions is proud to announce the promotion of Sheila Schulze to Senior Director of eLearning, and the hiring of Sophie Zinser as the Senior Director of Worker Engagement + Surveys.
Over the past year Labor Solutions has seen tremendous growth in demand for both worker surveys and eLearning. “To continue this growth and continue to be a leader in innovation, dedicated strategic leadership is needed. Sheila and Sophie have the experience, expertise, and creativity to help expand the capabilities, capacity and reach of Labor Solutions' tools to help improve the lives of millions of workers globally.” said Labor Solutions’ CEO, Elena Fanjul-Debnam.
Both women will be charged with leading their respective product lines, setting strategy, ensuring quality and consulting with clients to create bespoke services and tools.
Meet Sheila
As Labor Solutions first employee, Ms. Schulze has been a pivotal part of the Labor Solutions team and growth, since 2013, contributing to our vision and execution. Over the past year Ms. Schulze has proactively led the eLearning team gaining high praise from clients and colleagues alike.

Ms. Schulze has almost a decade of experience working with leading organizations focused on improving the wellbeing and working conditions of labor workers such as Better Work Indonesia, Workplace Options and Labor Solutions. Her expertise and skills stretch from the fields of Communications, Project Management, Research, Consulting to Product Development.
Ms. Schulze holds a Master of Arts Degree in Culture, Collaborative Media and Creative Industries from Malmö University in Sweden. Prior to her Masters, Sheila obtained her BA Degree in International Communications from the Hanze University of Groningen, with a Minor in Politics and Development from Middlesex University London.
Passionate about education and driven by impact, Ms. Schulze has managed different educational projects across various formats and platforms, from SMS based coaching to web-based and app-based interactive eLearning. She has supported leading organizations and subject matter experts in the industry to design and develop of various eLearning materials targeted towards different audiences across the supply chain to promote and advance gender equality, workers' personal and professional wellbeing, labor rights, human rights and more.

Meet Sophie
Sophie Zinser joins Labor Solutions as Senior Director of Worker Engagement to head our Worker Survey product offering and support organizational strategy.

A former Fulbright Scholar in Amman, Jordan and Schwarzman Scholar with a Masters in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University, Ms. Zinser has worked for the past five years on labor rights and migration challenges across the Middle East and Asia with both United Nations and grassroots organizations. She joins the team from a year as a Fellow at Chatham House; a global think tank based in London. Ms. Zinser also recently worked on multi-stakeholder technology projects to end forced labor as a consultant with both the United Nations University and Diginex in Hong Kong.
An emerging thought leader in the field of forced labor, Ms. Zinser's research and commentary have been featured in the BBC, the Guardian, the Diplomat, the Hill, and the South China Morning Post, among others. Her work focuses on the importance of responsible recruitment practices and designing surveys tailored to context-specific, on-the-ground challenges facing workers. With Labor Solutions, Ms. Zinser looks forward to innovating rigorous survey methods and generating real solutions to complex business and human rights challenges. Based in Hong Kong, Ms. Zinser also speaks Chinese, Arabic, and French.
