HOW do LABOR SOLUTIONS AND IDH WORK TOGETHER?
Race to the Top seeks to showcase the business rationale for adopting environmental and social sustainability practices. As part of the programs, factory workers, union representatives, supervisors and management participate in trainings and coaching to develop skills and implement practices that improve both sustainability and profitability.
Labor Solutions was selected to join Race to the Top to provide a tech-based solution for worker engagement efforts. As part of the project, Labor Solutions provides WOVO to participating factories. IDH, through funding from USAID, contributes 50% of the fees, to promote public-private partnerships. IDH also partnered with Labor Solutions to design and enhance existing e-learning curriculum to support women empowerment efforts.
